Don Lamb-Minor has worked closely with a diverse range of public and private organizations and political candidates in positioning and advancing their interests. As a former business owner, Don’s client list included such well-known names as Bethlehem Steel, W. R. Grace & Co., and FMC Corporation. A former member of both the Maryland House of Delegates and the Maryland Democratic Central Committee, he has also been active in local, state and national political campaigns, referendums and other ballot questions since the mid 1970s.
As a successful consultant, he has helped conceive, organize, and implement many public and private initiatives in both the profit and nonprofit arenas, such as for the Adventure Sports Center International, a complex multi-year economic development project blending myriad public, quasi-public, and private interests together, which helped reduce unemployment in Garrett County, Maryland from 14% to 3%.
Throughout his distinguished career in business and politics, Don’s extensive experience building legislative coalitions and networks, mediating, and creating public affairs and grassroots strategies, has been invaluable in developing innovative and successful solutions to complex issues with competing demands from various stakeholder groups. His background also includes: conducting skills-based workshops for state and national organizations, event planning, and producing informational and promotional materials for print and broadcast media.
